What characters do you already play here, if any? Epsilon
How did you hear about the game? I'm already in it
[IC Information]
Character Name: Noble Six, also known as SPARTAN-B312
Series: Halo Reach
Gender: Female(I play the character as the female permutation,
canonly, there is no gender.)
Age: Canonly, this like a lot of data on Noble Six is
Redacted. I'd estimate it as extremely early twenties at most from the
age of the other member of Beta company in the group.
Species: Human
Appearance:
Canonly, the character has no set gender or appearance. In this case,
I use the female permutation.
Six is a fairly tall woman(6'9" to be exact), well muscled and
probably about 250 pounds out of armor. She has dark, mid length
hair, and some minor scarring, but nothing really noteworthy that's
normally visible. She trained as a Spartan, she's had plenty of
injuries. Some of the scarring is fairly recent and fresher from her
time on Reach. Most of the time, however, Six is wearing a set of
MJOLNIR armor, mostly gray in color. As of arrival, the armor will be
damaged, as a not.
Personality:
Noble Six, also known as SPARTAN-B312, is a highly independent person,
well known for her lone wolf tendencies and efficiency on the
battlefield. However, there's a lot more to the person beneath that,
as can be seen throughout the Reach campaign. While her past and her
reputation might make it seem likely that she'd be a bad fit for a
team like Noble, in fact the opposite is the truth. She's surprisingly
social and caring among allies. Six has courage and devotion to duty
to the point of willingly sacrificing herself to make sure it all
works out.
On joining Noble, it was made immediately clear by Carter, Noble
Leader, that the majority of the group didn't exactly want a
replacement, and that she might have some issues, but time and working
together ends up changing that. In fact, Six seems to get along quite
well with the others in Noble in the missions they end being assigned
to throughout the Reach Campaign. It especially appears that she was
fairly close to Noble Five, to the point where she didn't want to let
him do it when he made the choice to sacrifice himself to destroy a
Covenant Corvette. She just had the choice taken away because he
literally picked her up and threw her out of the ship.
Noble Six is devoted to accomplishing her missions and completing
orders, and she can and be completely ruthless if necessary. This is
a person that can both make entire militia groups vanish and will
fight to protect her team to the point of risking her life for them.
Six also knows her duties to others, even random civilians, and will
do her best to protect them. As much a lone wolf as she's been, she's
also not unused to dealing with non Spartan UNSC personnel.
Abilities: The Spartan-IIIs each went through a set of
bio-augmentations with various effects. The end results of these
various treatments is nearly unbreakable bones, increased muscle
density and strength, improved vision, and highly increased reflexes.
They've also gone through a high level of training to make them the
best soldiers possible. Six was selected from among the Beta company
of Spartan-IIIs as being unusually outstanding among them. She was
actually classified hyper-lethal, which is an extremely rare
classification.
Items:
- 1 set of MJOLNIR armor, with some damage.
- 1 M6G Magnum
- 1M392 DMA - Designated Marksman rifle
- 2 sets of dog tags, hers and Jorge's.
History:
A lot of Noble Six's earliest history really isn't known. What we
know for sure is that she was an orphan of the human war against the
Covenant. Her homeworld and her family were destroyed in a Covenant
glassing by many other children. By that point in the war, humanity
was getting desperate. The earlier Spartan-II project had been
successful, so they had chosen to repeat it, using volunteers in the
form of war orphans. These children were offered a chance at revenge
and once put through grueling training, became the Spartan-IIIs.
SPARTAN-B312, later, known as Noble Six, was from the second group of
Spartan-IIIs, known as Beta company. However, SPARTAN-B312 was
considered too valuable by her superiors to throw away in a
large-scale suicide mission like the Alpha's were. She was one of a
few to escape that fate.
Before Reach, Six was used as an assassin by her superior, earning her
reputation for being a lone wolf and a "hyper-lethal vector". Entire
militia groups were wiped out at her hands. She was only assigned to
Noble as a replacement with great reluctance, as her superior was
reluctant to give up his private grim reaper.
Six joined Noble, working her way into the group and fighting against
the Covenant in a number of missions on Reach. But it wasn't to last,
and the casualties of the entire campaign would end up extensive among
Noble. Eventually, as Operation: UPPERCUT, Six and Jorge were sent to
try to destroy a Covenant Corvette. A failed detonator on the bomb
that was supposed the Corvette resulted in the first death among
Noble. Jorge gave Six his dog tags and literally threw her out of the
ship to make sure that she survived to go back to Noble. And that was
just the first death of a team member she saw on this mission.
It took some time for Six to be reunited with Noble, and she assisted
in the evacuation of New Alexandria on her way back. In spite of
everything that might be expected, she worked well with the normal
soldiers to try to rescue civilians. It wasn't always successful, but
Six wouldn't stop trying in spite of the Covenant. It's her duty to
protect humanity.
Not long after the remaining team was reunited, Kat was killed by a
Covenant sniper with Six being the one to catch her body and haul it
to the bunker they were running to at the time, where the group spent
several days with Kat's body. Even though there was no saving her, Six
still insisted on pulling the body into the shelter. Even after the
short time they'd been a team, she'd developed strong ties to give her
dead teammate that respect.
From there, they headed to a torch and burn operation that was nothing
more than an excuse to return Noble to pick up what supposed to be the
best hope for humanity. An AI named Cortana that had chosen Six to be
her courier. That AI contained the most powerful weapon the human
race had against the threat. Information.
In transit to the shipyards to get the AI to safety, there was another
loss. Noble One sacrificed himself to take out an obstacle between
them and the shipyards they needed to get the AI to. Another painful
loss, one that she wasn't going to forget, or let be in vain. He told
her the AI had chosen right. She was going to live up to that--which
she and Emile managed, getting the AI to the Pillar of Autumn, though
Emile went down to a group of Zealots manning the gun to help clear
the area for the AI to be picked up. Seeing that, Six couldn't have
taken the chance for failure.
In the end, Six makes a choice that truly shows her courage and her
loyalties. All the others from the team are gone. She made the choice
to sacrifice herself to make sure all the sacrifices weren't in vain.
Humanity's best hope needed to get off the planet. If her life was the
price to get it to safety? It was a price she'd happily pay, as all
but one of her team had already done.
Once the Pillar was gone, she was alone, surrounded by enemies. All
she really could do was try to survive, but as time went on, they wore
her down and finally, a group of elites took her down.
First-Person Communicator Sample:
[Noble Six couldn't help herself. After everything, she had to
sit down now that there's breathing room. She's not dying at least,
but the wounds that would have killed her weren't completely healed.
There's some pain. And there's visible damage to the armor that she
was going to have to try to figure out a way to fix. The Dream Eater
takes the chance to climb into her lap, trying to cuddle, just to get
pushed away.] Come on. Knock it off.
This is Spartan-B312, Noble Six. I'm looking for other UNSC personnel
to make contact. I need information on what this place is. It
definitely doesn't look like Reach. [Ignoring the fact that
she should be dead from what she can remember.]
Third-Person RP Sample: It was over. The Pillar of Autumn was
safely away. She'd done her part to make sure of that. To make sure
that their lives hadn't been sacrificed in vain. Jorge. Kat. Carter.
And Emile.... She'd made sure that the package had made it off, in
spite of the damn Zealots that took him out when he was manning the
gun. They'd offered to take her with, but there was no way the Pillar
would have made it without covering fire. She couldn't risk the chance
of failure that going would have.
Besides, Six was a Spartan. As Jorge had said, they all make this trip
one day. Knowing that her staying would mean the difference between
humanity's best hope escaping or not...there really hadn't been a
choice.
And now, Six was alone. Alone, except for the large number of Covenant
soldiers that swarmed the area. But she was a Spartan, and damn it if
she wasn't going to take as many of the bastards as she could possibly
take with her in the end. She would go down fighting. It was what most
of the team had done, so how could she have done any less. Kat didn't
even get the chance to go down fighting, thanks to that damn sniper.
Six carefully aimed and fired, trying to make every shot count. She
couldn't afford to waste ammunition. Couldn't afford to waste
anything. Not if she wanted to keep going to keep taking down more of
them. Another Grunt, a Skirmisher, and an Elite. And they just kept
coming. But that was good. Bring it on. She wanted more. She didn't
even notice the first cracks forming in her visor until it got to the
point where it was more of a hindrance than a help.
Six pulled it off, leaving it on the ground. She wouldn't need it
again. She picked up her gun again, but then they came. The Elites.
Injured and tired... She kept fighting. Kept ignoring each new wound,
intent on taking another one with her if she could. But there it was.
She'd fallen. There was nothing she could have done but struggle as
she watched the energy dagger fall. She wasn't going down quietly. Not
by a long shot.
